The Catch

Here are the rules. 

No one will save you.

Take nothing for granted.

With jacks — and they’re all jacks —

watch for fouls and misses. 

Miss a jack, move a jack, drop a jack —

if the ball doesn’t bounce your way,

you’re out on your bum. 

They touch you, you burn.

Silly flesh.  Learn to hook and run. 

The object is to sweep them off their feet. 

Make them want you.

Then, take them.  Take them all.
